With over 14 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a variety of settings, including general education, inclusion, and self-contained special education classrooms. I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, behavioral and emotional challenges, and more.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Special Education. I’m certified in Phonics First Structures, the Read Well program, and trained in strategies for reading intervention, dyslexia, trauma-informed practices, behavior support, and working with students with ASD and ADHD. I specialize in adapting instruction to fit individual needs, whether in small groups, one-on-one, or full-class settings.
Over the years, I’ve taught both in-person and virtually, supported homebound students, and developed cross-curricular lessons that foster both academic success and real-world skills. I was honored to speak at a symposium for educators and parents, highlighting the importance of peer involvement in inclusive classrooms.
I’m passionate about helping students realize their full potential. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is seeing students gain confidence, overcome challenges, and recognize their own strengths—the same ones I see from the start. Building strong, trusting relationships with students is at the heart of my teaching philosophy.
With my background, certifications, and deep commitment to student success, I’m excited to continue making a positive impact both in and out of the classroom
