Cindy turned a tough semester around in just five weeks.

My son was struggling with chemistry tests despite doing well on assignments — his midterm dropped him to a B-. Cindy diagnosed the root issue quickly (weak foundational concepts) and built a targeted plan starting with his weakest areas. She didn't just tutor; she coordinated with his classroom teacher's study guide, set up a shared Google Drive of resources, and sent practice worksheets and session whiteboards after every lesson. Where she truly went above and beyond was final exam prep. When my son showed her an updated study guide just days before the exam, she recognized there was more material than the remaining sessions could cover — particularly the harder concepts like using polarity to determine intermolecular forces, which take real time to master. Rather than rushing through it, she proactively proposed an additional session, built custom practice materials for it, and even offered extended time on the last day at no charge. She then worked through the entire study guide herself and sent her completed answer key so he could check his own work before the exam. That's a level of commitment you rarely find. My son has ADHD and is a bit introverted, and her teaching style resonated with him immediately. In his words, she "explains things in a way that's easily understandable." Concepts he'd struggled with all semester — nomenclature, polarity, particle diagrams — clicked under her instruction. She's flexible, communicative, and genuinely invested in her students' success. Highly recommend Cindy for any high school or college chemistry student.

I first reached out to Cindy when I was struggling in Advanced Chemistry, and she has been absolutely phenomenal! She absolutely knows what she's talking about, and not only did she explain each topic in clear and easy to follow language, she also fully made sure that he understood the material as well, providing in depth examples if I needed it. There were multiple instances after the lesson had ended that she also sent detailed notes of how to solve each problem, and reviewing those notes really helped me to feel very prepared for each test. Thanks to her, I was able to manage an A average in that class throughout the entire year! Particularly given that science is not my strong suit, I deeply appreciate Cindy for her tremendous efforts!

Cindy B. is a profoundly knowledgeable tutor for Chemistry & AP CHEM. My daughter has taken a few sessions with her in April 2026 & May 2026 to prepare for her AP CHEM exam. Cindy's session are highly informative, filled with explanations and concepts that helped my daughter to gain a better understandings to the entire course. Cindy has an answer to all of the questions: Reminding and reintroducing concepts, rules and formulas to my daughter. Breaking down and reviewing the entire course in only a few sessions. Highlighting the major components and extracting the importance of each unit. She also sent offline material for my daughter to practice. Cindy can prep any students to do well in the AP CHEM EXAM.
