As a high school math teacher with ten years of experience in various classroom situations, I have learned about kids and the way they process information. My experience has ranged from alternative school environments to lab remediation to regular classrooms. Each has it own set of challenges and unique opportunities to try different techniques to help students achieve their goals. I also did tutoring in a college prep lab during my time as a student while pursuing my education to become a teacher. Helping a student to reach his/her individual goals is the most satisfying reward I have had in my many and various employment opportunities in my life.
My background in the martial arts has helped to stay committed to whatever avenue I have decided to pursue. I also teach younger kids in this field and have been doing so for 4 years and understand how eager this younger mind is willing to learn and easily adapt to each situation.
