High School Math Teacher with 20 years experience!

I have been a high school math teacher for 20 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education. I hold a Masters of Arts and Teaching, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher for Young Adulthood and Adolescence. I am ESL certified as well. I have taught Algebra I, Algebra 2, Algebra 3, Geometry, and AP Statistics as a classroom teacher. I have tutored and graded Pre-Calculus online, as well as some College Algebra tutoring.

I have a passion and a gift for explaining rigorous math concepts to students in an accessible way. I am well known in my district for helping students that struggle in math to build confidence and achievement in their own math studies. I also work well with students that excel in math, and enjoy sharing different ways or methods that they view and work problems. Students learn when working with me that is okay to make mistakes, and use those mistakes to learn and get better.
