As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I provide tutoring in speech, language, and communication skills grounded in graduate-level clinical training and supervised experience across pediatric and adult populations. My background includes working with a wide range of communication needs, including articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication. I use evidence-based strategies to support clients in building clear, functional communication skills that translate into academic success and everyday confidence.
In addition to speech and language support, I am able to tutor foundational academic skills in reading and writing because these areas are closely connected to language development. My training includes assessing and treating underlying language skills such as vocabulary, grammar, phonological awareness, reading comprehension, and written expression. I help students strengthen decoding, fluency, comprehension, spelling, and written organization by breaking skills into structured, manageable steps and using systematic, individualized instruction tailored to each learner’s needs.
I also provide tutoring support in math at the foundational level, particularly for students who benefit from language-based support in understanding word problems, math vocabulary, and multi-step directions. Because many math difficulties are tied to language comprehension and processing, I use my expertise in simplifying language, improving auditory processing, and teaching step-by-step reasoning strategies to support math learning. My goal is to help students build confidence, independence, and academic skills that carry over across subjects.
