I’m a certified teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, currently teaching first grade. I’ve worked with students from preschool through fourth grade, and I love helping each child grow in a way that feels encouraging, supportive, and tailored to their needs.
I’m trained in the Brain Springs curriculum, a science-of-reading–based phonics approach that supports all learners, including students with dyslexia. I also hold AMSTI certifications, using engaging, research-based strategies to help math and science make sense. In addition, I’ve completed further professional training to strengthen my instruction across subjects and learning styles.
I specialize in working with elementary students in reading, math, and general homework support. I understand that children learn in many ways, and I take the time to adjust my approach so they feel and are successful.
Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or gaining confidence, I create lessons that are clear, supportive, and engaging. I focus on assessing what each student needs, breaking skills down to teach them step-by-step, and provided practice opportunities.
My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and confident reaching their goals.
