National Merit Scholar specializing in SAT prep and Mathematics

Will C.

Strong performance in math and standardized testing comes down to building intuition, solid fundamentals, and structured problem-solving habits. Whether working through school math coursework or preparing for a high-stakes exam, my goal is to help students break down complex topics into clear, repeatable steps.

My own coursework goes well beyond what I tutor. I have completed the full calculus sequence, linear algebra, discrete math, and statistics, and I am currently taking real analysis. Additionally, I scored a 9/10 on the Society of Actuaries Exam P (Probability), an actuarial exam with an average pass rate around 40% to 45%.

On the test prep side, I focus exclusively on the modern digital exams. Having taken them recently, scoring a 1570 on the digital SAT (790 Math, 780 Reading) and a perfect 1520 on the digital PSAT for National Merit recognition, I know the specific demands of the computer format. Rather than relying on outdated strategies built for the old paper tests, I show students how to use the built-in Desmos calculator effectively, manage section pacing, and avoid the recurring trick answers College Board uses in adaptive modules.

I focus heavily on test prep because the milestones are clear: we identify exact knowledge gaps, fix inefficient habits, and measure real progress over time.
