Hello! My name is February, and I’m a dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in math, vocabulary, spelling, GED preparation, ACT math, and general computer skills.
I’ve been tutoring for about 13 years, working with students of all ages—from elementary school learners to adult students preparing for the GED or returning to school after several years. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring sessions, small group lessons, and volunteer literacy programs where I helped adults improve their reading and computer skills.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and highly personalized. I start by identifying each student’s strengths and the areas that need the most support, then create clear, step-by-step lessons that build understanding and confidence. I often use real-world examples to help students see how concepts connect to everyday life, especially in math and computer lessons.
I believe learning should feel comfortable and empowering, not overwhelming. My goal is to make sure every student feels supported, motivated, and proud of their progress—no matter their starting point.
