Hello, I’m Kayla! I am very passionate about helping beginner and intermediate artists grow their confidence and artistic abilities. I enjoy breaking down complex art concepts into simple, approachable steps that make learning feel less overwhelming and more enjoyable. I strongly believe every artist has their own unique style and perspective, so I focus heavily on encouragement while helping students strengthen their technical skills. One of my favorite parts of teaching is helping students see improvement in areas they once struggled with and creating an environment where they feel comfortable being creative.
I am comfortable tutoring children, teenagers, and adults at the beginner and intermediate level in both traditional and digital art topics. I can assist with character design, portraits, illustrations, composition, digital painting workflows, beginner animation principles, beginner anatomy, and portfolio development.
