Hi! I am a former high school science teacher and am certified to teach any subject in grades 6-12! I graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Chemistry and a MA in Science Education. I am currently working as a chemist. I have experience tutoring students in a variety of science and math topics. I love chemistry and physics, and especially biochemistry! I also love helping students understand challenging concepts in a way that is simple and relatable.

In my free time, I enjoy doing a variety of things including kayaking, fishing, hiking, reading, and wood working. My favorite place to visit is the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My dream is to take a teaching job in Colorado and go camping, hiking, and fishing on the weekends! In the mean time, I want to practice my trade by tutoring students in a way that helps them get from where they are to where they want to be.

I have taken a variety of Chemistry courses, making A's and B's in Astronomy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics for Science teachers. I also made a 35 on the ACT science section back in the day! I am trained with unique strategies that can quickly help improve ACT scores .
