Hi, students! My name is Faith! I will be graduating from the University of South Alabama in May 2022 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Throughout my time in college, I have realized how helpful it has been to have a tutor who understands my needs and can help me learn information in a different way than my instructors can. I have found that tutors have a different perspective of the topics and are able to teach me from more of a peer perspective than a professional one. In order to do this myself, I try to always keep the time spent with students full of engaging activities, pneumonics, tips & tricks, and time for questions and practice problems.
I have 3 years of tutoring experience. When I was in high school, I tutored elementary and middle school students in math and science courses, and since being in college, I have tutored students in the nursing program. Additionally, I have worked for 3 years at an after-school care in my area, helping children ages 5-14 with their daily homework.
I have really enjoyed tutoring students, because I love to see how far they come. A fresh perspective is able to change things for a student who desires to do well. I love to hear about ways to improve my tutoring style and am willing to adjust to fit any learning style. I am easy to reach and will always provide a fast response.
