My name is Paul! I am graduating summa cum laude in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Alabama. I will be matriculating into a Chemical Engineering PhD program at the University of Pennsylvania this year. I've tutored a wide range of subjects, including SAT math, AP Calculus, college math, physics, and fluid mechanics. My students have ranged from high school students to engineering honor society students, and I have consistently received top ratings for my teaching, with students receiving desired results (5s on AP exam, etc.). My methods are based on teaching students to "think like an engineer," not because everyone should be an engineer, but rather, I teach students how to solve problems, think critically, and arrive at the answer by themselves.

Of course, lessons change based on individual student needs. Some students just need someone to check their work, while others need help the whole way. Either way, my end goal is for students to put me out of a job. I want students to be able to do the work without a tutor, and my results have shown that this is consistently achieved.

Beyond math, I also specialize in crafting competitive scholarship applications. I am an international/national awardee for multiple scholarships and awards. I have conducted research at Princeton University, abroad with Fulbright Canada, and have won scholarships such as the Goldwater Scholarship, the most prestigious research scholarship in the US.
