I love teaching! I’ve been teaching for a year at Valiant Cross Academy, but I’ve been tutoring for half a decade.

I have 6+ years experience with all types of Mathematics tutoring from grades 6-12. I love teaching! I’ve been teaching for a year at Valiant Cross Academy, but I’ve been tutoring for half a decade.

I have 6+ years experience with all types of Mathematics tutoring from grades 6-12. Although I am experienced in all topics, I specialize in Algebra - whether it be procedural topics (like factoring, solving systems of equations, etc.), or more abstract topics like Abstract Algebra, Complex Analysis, etc. Geometry is a close second - especially when it comes to test prep and topic breakdowns! I am a very visual/kinesthetic learner so this is typically my approach within the average session.

I believe that there is no concept too hard to grasp and it is my lifelong mission to spread that to my students! I am compassionate and patient by nature, but also headstrong in achieving this goal. Thus I am proficient at meeting the student where they are! I am not deterred by any skill level and it is my firm belief that the seemingly impossible in Math can become not only possible, but easy!

During the latter half of my undergrad, I worked one on one (through Upward Bound) to analyze text responses for high schoolers. I viewed and made real-time suggestions to various forms of their essays, helping them to refine their unique writing styles. Regarding ACT prep, I aided in their revision of sentence/paragraph structure, topic/thesis sentences, grammar, syntax as well as a myriad of other writing staples.

Great teacher

I definitely recommend him, made everything a lot easier to understand and included notes to remember for future problems. He was pretty flexible and didn’t mind going over time just to make sure you understand a problem. 10/10
