Bio

Hi, I'm Charles. I am a 4.0 GPA EE Master's student with industry experience. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I attained a 3.99 GPA, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was awarded the Outstanding EE Undergraduate Student award in my senior year. Through classes near the end of my undergraduate degree, industry experience, and my graduate degree thus far, I have been challenged with rigorous mathematics and become experienced in Radar and Antennas. I am new to formal academic tutoring, but I do have experience from aiding classmates as I navigated my undergraduate degree as well as coworkers in the workplace and I have a passion for helping others.

When assisting students, I believe in promoting understanding of concepts and believe that through a proper understanding, one can do well academically, while nurturing the toolbox of ideas that will set one ahead in industry. Join me in topics such as Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Circuits, Signals and Systems, MATLAB, Digital Logic, Radar, and Antennas and let me help you pursue understanding of these concepts so that we may advance technological and mathematical understanding together. As one might expect from my listed subjects, I tutor mainly college students, but I also accept late high school students who are taking Calculus or MATLAB classes. I am open to both 1:1 and group tutoring, and offer group rates.

My general approach to tutoring, regardless of the subject, is to ensure an understanding of the general topic, before diving into practice problems to reinforce the methods and execution of the concepts. I will and can not do your schoolwork for you, but I aim to help you understand the concepts within such that you may stand and succeed on your own. I am open to any feedback you may have, and look forward to being adaptive to the student and figuring our how best to help you.

Approved Subjects

Calculus

Calculus

As a high GPA engineering student, I performed Calculus often. Through my focus in antennas, I have been challenged to complete difficult integrals and to solve difficult calculus problems due to electromagnetics' high dependance upon calculus concepts.
Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

I am a 4.0 GPA Electrical Engineer Master's Student and Industry member with experience, both in-industry and academically, in Electrical Engineering concepts with a focus in Radar and Antennas. Regarding undergraduate EE work, I graduated Summa Sum Laude with my BS in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.99. Throughout my degree and through my job, I have dealt with and practiced basic electrical engineering in the areas of basic circuits, digital logic, continuous and discrete time signal processing, and random signals. Regarding more advanced topics, I have taken several radar and antenna classes, as well as worked professionally in these areas, preparing me well to assist one who is beginning in these areas.
MATLAB

MATLAB

Throughout my coursework and professional experience, I have used MATLAB prolifically. As my most common programming/scripting language, I have used MATLAB for thousands of hours. This puts me in a unique position to assist new/developing users through the concepts necessary for MATLAB programming, from basic program execution and computation to bigger data types such as classes, structs, cell arrays, and more.
