I earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Education and a Master of Education in Special Education, and I am certified to teach students in grades 6–12. My educational background has prepared me to teach subjects such as World History and ACT Reading while also supporting students with diverse learning needs. I believe every student can succeed when instruction is personalized to their strengths, learning style, and academic goals.

I have five years of classroom teaching experience working with middle and high school students. During that time, I developed engaging lessons, differentiated instruction for students with a wide range of abilities, and helped learners build confidence in both content knowledge and critical thinking skills. In addition to teaching, I have mentored high school students and trained first-year teachers, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, provide constructive feedback, and adapt my approach to meet individual needs. My tutoring style emphasizes patience, encouragement, and practical strategies that help students become more independent learners.

Although I am certified to teach grades 6–12, I enjoy working with learners of various ages through the high school level. Whether a student needs support mastering World History content, improving ACT Reading performance, strengthening reading comprehension, or developing effective study skills, I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and reaching their academic goals.
