Hi my name is Emily,
I am a 4th year medical student and a Texas A&M University alum with a major in Biology and minor in Psychology. As a student in the University Honors Program and Biology Honors Program, I feel that my experiences in higher level classes and extensive volunteer hours provided me an in-depth comprehension of multiple subjects.
In High School I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received at least 4s in over 7 AP Tests. I also scored in the 98th percentile for my standardized college testing with a perfect score in English.
Lastly, I also taught piano lessons to 17 students weekly for 3 years, and tutored middle school science and math weekly for National Honor Society. My students ranged in ages from 3 to 14 years old. With my previous experience, teaching and tutoring students many with learning disabilities and different learning techniques I believe that I have an aptitude for sharing my knowledge with other ambitious students. I feel most comfortable tutoring for testing preparation, math for grades K-12, and English as well as grammar.
