I'm a 16 year teaching veteran who enjoys working with students. In my career I have taught 2nd grade, in middle school I have taught English, history and science. In secondary education (high school) I have worked as a collaborative special education teacher in the areas of English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.

I love helping students comprehend academic information in a simple format. I'll try to use methods and resources that will make the information easier to memorize. As a special education teacher I understand how frustrating it is to not understand everything you hear in class. I want to make learning easier.

I have worked in all areas of education including elementary, middle, and high school. I am a certified K12 teacher in teh state of Alabama.

I have taught English for 3 years and I've been in the English classroom teaching and assisting students for over 11 years. I understand how to set up paragraphs to write, use elements of writing. I love reading novels and finding author's purpose, finding context clues, and looking deep into the foreshadowing. This is my favorite part of English, Literature.

History is my favorite subject. I enjoy learning about the events that have shaped the world. I have taught in the History setting for over 11 years.
