I have several years of experience supporting students in math and reading, and I currently tutor students in my community outside of school. My background includes working with a wide range of learners, including students who need extra support to build foundational skills and confidence. I am also continuing my professional growth through advanced coursework in elementary education.
My tutoring approach focuses on building strong foundational skills while helping students truly understand what they are learning. In math, I use step-by-step strategies, hands-on methods, and real-world connections to make concepts clear and meaningful. I regularly incorporate discussion, guided practice, and targeted feedback to help students stay engaged and improve. I also have experience preparing students for state assessments, so I can support both skill-building and test readiness.
I have worked with elementary-aged students, primarily in grades 2–4, in both classroom and tutoring settings.
