I spend my days teaching social studies and English learners and most of my afternoons is spent coaching basketball. I love helping students and athletes grow and develop to their full potential. My experience teaching consists of teaching 7th grade English learners, 7th grade social studies, 8th grade Ancient world history, and 11th grade US History. I’m a social studies nerd and love to help students with the subject. I often volunteer in the community with basketball camps and English learner camps. As a coach, I’ve assisted with the University of North Alabama Women’s team and I’ve coached teams that have won county championships. I do not believe coaching is all about winning, especially at a young age. Instead, I believe it is about growing, improving, and wanting to keep playing for years to come.
