I am a certified teacher with experience tutoring in a variety of subjects including test preparation for all subjects on the following exams: ACT, SSAT, SAT, GMAT, and Praxis II. I have also coached elementary math and reading, and I currently teach ages 8-12 gifted in the public school system. Excellent tutor!

Very flexible with our busy schedules. Both my children are tutored by Hilary, and have both improved significantly on their ACT test scores! She is very well versed in all ACT subjects and test taking skills. My kids are polar opposites, and she adjusts her tutoring methods to their specific needs. Highly recommended!

Great tutor!

I met with Hilary three times to study for the Praxis: Social Sciences content exam. We had three 60 minute sessions, which were fabulous. She offered new ways for me to study and learn the information. She also gave me great test-taking skills to help me relax the day of the exam. I felt better prepared and relaxed on the day of the exam. I was really in need of new study strategies when I met with Hilary and she exceeded every expectation! She's fantastic. My overall score raised by 4 points after three of my tutoring sessions. I would highly recommend hiring Hilary as a tutor. Such a sweet person, very professional, and always on time!

Knowledgeable of Material

Hilary was very professional and knowledgeable of the material we requested her to tutor our daughter on for the high school graduation exam. She made our daughter feel more confident about testing and Hilary only had a short period of time to work with her. Being that we were short on time; Hilary still came up with a teaching plan that worked out great. Hilary's study method was helpful and it assisted our daughter in better comprehending the required material. She was given some great study tips and test taking tips to prepare for the test. We would confidently recommend her to anyone who is seeking to find an excellent tutor.
