I received my BA and MA from the University of North Alabama in English literature. Both my senior undergraduate thesis and my Master's thesis were exemplary examples of academic writing. I have been teaching/tutoring for 2+ years, and I focus on being adaptable, positive, encouraging, and empowering. My goal with any teaching or tutoring session is to not only help you exceed on the assignment at hand but to transcend your learning journey and instill the tools, knowledge, and confidence required to make you ready for future tasks. I have taught and Tutored in classroom environments (20+ students) and one-on-one sessions alike. I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor, and I have the ability to get results out of students.
I still practice what I preach. I have a book review blog where I critically examine everything from history books and literary classics to YA novels and contemporary fiction. Writing and teaching is writing is my purpose in life, and I cherish the opportunity to help students--at all levels--attain adequate progress towards their goals.
