I hold an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development and two graduate degrees—one in Early Childhood Education and another in Collaborative Education. My background has given me the opportunity to work in both general education and special education classrooms, supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs. I’ve taught children from preschool through sixth grade and have also tutored individually in reading, helping students build fluency, comprehension, and a genuine love for books.

My teaching approach is rooted in high expectations and genuine care. I believe students grow the most when they are both supported and challenged. While I provide encouragement and structure, I don’t believe in coddling students—I want them to be prepared for the real world beyond school. Life can be tough, but learning strategies to adapt, problem-solve, and persevere gives students tools that will serve them long after they leave the classroom.

In my sessions, I focus on helping each student become their best self—academically, socially, and emotionally. I adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and use a variety of strategies to build confidence and independence. My goal is for students to feel capable, proud of their progress, and ready to face challenges with resilience and determination.
