Hello everyone! Jena here! I earned my Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) degree two decades ago and have since worked in almost every specialty in the Operating Room, Labor and Delivery, and Cardiology. Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, procedures, and more.
I’ve taught numerous surgical scrub students, nursing students, and even some medical students in the OR about the procedures, techniques, and practices that occur in the operating theater. I’ve also helped them understand how to perform these procedures within their scope of practice and with the utmost integrity. I’ve truly enjoyed watching each student excel and achieve their goals!
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which further developed my skills in research, analysis, and communication. I’ve assisted others in improving their writing, comprehension, and retention skills by understanding different learning styles and personal differences.
