“**Awesome Math Tutor**”

I've had many opportunities to teach and tutor during my career and I still get excited and love when I see the "light bulb" come on in the eyes of my students. There is no better feeling than being able to help someone reach a new understanding of something that, at first, seems so difficult to grasp...I believe you can achieve what you set your

Mr. Rafael is an amazing math tutor. He's very patient and easy to work with. He will make sure you understand each problem before moving on to the next. I always learn something new after each session. And i guarantee you will too. BEST TUTOR EVER!!!!!!!

We hired Milton to tutor our daughter on ACT math and test-taking skills, to get her over "the hump" on improving her composite score of 29. She is pretty leery of strangers, especially men, and as an excellent student already, felt pretty silly even getting tutoring. But, Milton really won her over! They worked together over 6 weeks- he evaluated her knowledge & skills and determined where she could improve, then gave her practice tests, went over test-taking skills, reviewed concepts and her answers, etc. He was patient with her, both personally and with her occasional scheduling conflicts. He was always very professional, but also very personable, and by the end of their time together, she said she was going to miss their sessions! :) She will be taking the test, again, this weekend, so we will see how much she improved, but we feel confident that her tutoring time with Mr. Milton will definitely produce positive results. We have already referred him to many people, and will continue to do so; you will be pleased both with the experience and the results of using him as a tutor.

Milton is one of the best teachers I could have ever chosen to teach me Spanish. He takes time for you to learn at your own rate. He provides you with information so you can continue to retain the ability to speak the language after you have mastered it. Simply Amazing!

He came prepared and the tutoring was good. Very nice and good tutor. I have rescheduled for another lesson next week.

Rafael worked well with my daughter, assessing what areas she needs to work on, providing math problem review/instruction, and providing practice materials/resources to use in between sessions

He is helping me with AP Statistics. We just had our first session and I can already tell he is going to be great!

Very patient with me not understanding things. He explains in great detail and at a good pace. Definitely going to stick with him.

It's going well so far, just excited to see my math go to another level and be ready for the asvab.

I sought out Raphael to help improve my Spanish speaking skills. Rafael personalizes your session to what you need/want to learn. He's genuinely invested in my success at the subject at hand. It's hard to ask for help as an adult, but Raphael is patient and encouraging. I highly recommend him!

Rafael was been working with my son and his 10th grade Geometry. My son is dyslexic and sometimes has to learn things differently than others. Rafael who had not tutored anyone with dyslexia before, read up on the best way to teach my son. Rafael is doing a great job of helping my son understand the concepts of geometry.

My son was facing hardship in Algebra 1 & Mr. Milton became a great help to him. Great teaching style as my son felt comfortable understanding the subject & wants to continue the tutoring session from him. I'm glad to find Mr. Milton Rafael N. to coach my son.

My son has really enjoyed being tutored my Rafael. Rafael explains the math in a way my son understands. Hope it helps to increase his ACT math score!

Kim, thanks! From what you told me this weekend, your son was able to surpass the score he needed in the ACT Math test to enter the program he was applying for. I wish him the best in his future endeavors and have no doubt he will be successful.

Rafael helps to build a mathematical foundation by reviewing things you may have forgotten while keeping up with current studies.

Mr. Rafael is a great tutor ! He has been very helpful, patient and very understanding . I can't thank him enough for all his help.

Rafael was very helpful helping me understand how to conjugate. He taught me other methods of learning. He was a huge help for me and I look forward to learning more with his help.

He gave me some handouts summarizing the lesson, and exercises to work on! The notes was really helpful. He tried to figure out want I need to study and he put me in the right position.

Mr. Rafael was well prepared, had lots of bonus tools for my daughter, gave us a concise outline of his approach and easily gained the trust and confidence of my daughter. She is looking forward to working with him.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
