Hi! I’m Bridgette, a dedicated and compassionate math tutor with over two years of experience helping students navigate challenges and build real confidence in math.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching students go from feeling frustrated or stuck to finally having those “aha” moments. I care deeply about creating a space where students feel supported, encouraged, and genuinely capable.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and I’m currently working toward my Master’s in Computer Science. Because of that background, I love showing students how math connects to real-life situations in science, tech, and everyday problem solving.
I’ve spent over two years tutoring full time at the college level, and I specialize in Algebra I, Algebra II, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and core math concepts. Lately, I’ve also enjoyed working with middle school students and helping them build a strong foundation and early confidence in math. Whether you're trying to catch up, get ahead, or just feel more at ease in math class, I always meet students where they are and tailor my approach to their needs. My sessions are all about making hard things feel manageable. I break down big ideas into clear, step-by-step pieces, and I create a relaxed environment where you can ask questions freely and really understand the material.
If math has felt overwhelming or discouraging, that’s okay. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to help you take it one step at a time, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
