I studied German classes abroad in Germany in the summer of 2009, and loved every minute of it! I can help best with beginner, to intermediate German studies.
I have taken piano lessons from 5 years of age, through my college career. I have taught piano, music theory, and sight reading, music and rhythm, for several years. Music brings so much joy and life, and I love to help students get a better grasp on learning the piano, and music itself. When a student puts in the hard work, music can become an incredible and joyous escape, and brings with it a sense of healthy accomplishment.
I studied German in Highschool, and majored in German in college. I also studied German abroad in Germany in the summer of 2009. In college, I was on the Dean’s List, tutored German in the Academic Resource center in college, and was president of the German Club from 2008-2009 at Mercer University. I received the Zertifikat Deutsch Award in November 2009 at the Goethe Institute in Atlanta, GA, as well as the AATG Post K-12 Scholarship in 2008 and 2009.
In the Spring of 2009, I was inducted into National Foreign Language Honors Society.
The German language, culture, and history is a love of mine that I think I will forever enjoy.
I took lessons from the age of 4, up until I graduated college in 2009. I received Music Scholarships at Mercer University during my entire student career there. I was a recipient of the Music Honor Student Award in 2007. Music is life!!! And playing beautiful music on the piano is something I enjoy to this day, as well as helping others find that same joy!
