I'm Andrew Bird MD. Prior to completing medical school, I tutored STEM subjects and worked with individuals with developmental disabilities.
I enjoy teaching and helping my students understand how they can become better at a subject. It is my sincere belief that through learning skills (working memory), we continue to develop neural pathways that help us to more readily and quickly develop new skills in other areas developing them from the simplest to the more complex tasks.

Knowledgeable tutor
He is very knowledgeable of his subject. He always gives clinical aspects of his teachings to help me understand the topic more. He also give me a different way to learn when it comes to memorize muscles.

Patient! Helped my son to focus and apply the knowledge.
Andrew has done a good job establishing a beneficial tutoring relationship with my son and has been able to help him stay focused on what they needed to accomplish. Andrew also did a nice job relating common experiences to the subject matter in a way that helped my son begin to see the relationship between the physical forces and the equations explaining them. He has always been patient and kind while goading and prodding my son to get involved in the sessions.

Making the "Grade"
Andrew is making a good connection with our grandson and is truly making a difference in his school work. I really like the way Andrew does not "give" our grandson the answers but leads him to make the right conclusions and reach the answers himself. We feel blessed to have found the right tutor for our grandson. Andrew is a great role model also.
