Students use tutors when they find themselves in situations where they need learning that is customized for their level. Often, classes for the masses begin at a level that is either too simple or too complex for the student. In either case, learning is stunted. I try to find out where my students are first and then I can move them to the next rung on the learning ladder. When that happens, teaching is very rewarding for both student and teacher, and it leads to more success as time goes on.
Sad to say, many so-called Sunday Schools in churches today are often little more than social hours, and biblical illiteracy in churches today is at an all-time high. In fact, many churches do not even want classes that teach the Bible in depth. Many people are leaving church, not because it requires a morality that it is too strict, but rather because the Word of God is being neglected. Faith is suffering as a result. I believe that I can help remedy this situation for those who want to learn the Bible.
