I am a middle school social studies teacher with experience teaching both middle and high school World History. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade students, focusing on early civilizations and world history, and I completed my student teaching at the high school level, teaching 10th grade World History. Through these experiences, I have worked with a wide range of learners and have developed strategies to help students better understand historical events, geography, culture, and critical thinking skills.
My teaching style focuses on making history engaging, understandable, and relevant to students’ lives. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive and when they feel comfortable asking questions. I work to break down difficult concepts into simpler ideas and help students build confidence in areas where they may struggle. I also understand that every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my approach based on the individual student’s needs and learning style.
In both classroom and one-on-one settings, I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can improve academically while also developing stronger study habits and problem-solving skills. Whether a student needs help preparing for a test, improving grades, completing assignments, or simply gaining a better understanding of history and social studies topics, I am committed to helping them succeed.
