My name is Tarun, and I would love to be your tutor! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Minors in Spanish. As someone who is starting medical school in the Fall, I do have experience taking and helping people prepare for their MCAT exams. I also have experience tutoring Physics, Fluid Dynamics, Chemical Engineering courses, college algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, chemistry, and biology among other subjects. Aside from tutoring in specific subjects, I also aim to help students develop new studying tactics to utilize for any subject material.

I have had many experiences tutoring elementary, high school, and college students throughout the last five years. As a Learning Assistant (LA), similar to a Teaching Assistant, I assisted professors for five different Calculus-based and Life-Science Physics classes. I held test review sessions, biweekly office hours and was available during class. I also tutored for Upchieve, an online service that targets subject material and college-preparatory for high schoolers. Lastly, I have experience as an AmeriCorps Teacher teaching elementary and middle school subjects. My outlook on tutoring revolves around doing whatever best helps the student learn the material. I remember constantly extending my office hour sessions as an LA when working with a student who still had questions about the subject material.

I excelled in my AP Math (Statistics and Calculus BC) and AP Physics classes throughout High School and would love to help you develop better skills to understand your Math subjects.
