The subject I am STRONGEST IN BY FAR is BIOLOGY!!! I made excellent grades in biology classes during college. I even took a few graduate level biology courses as an undergraduate and made As in those classes. In college, I was the person everyone wanted to study with because I understood the material the most and created outstanding notes and made almost all As in every single biology class throughout my entire undergraduate coursework.
While working for the Biology Dept. at UAB, one of my duties was being in charge of the undergrads that came through my lab to do undergrad research. I helped them design, execute experiments, and interpret the data from their research to present.
As an undergrad student, I did a study abroad program in tropical biology in the Bahamas. Upon graduation, I was honored that a professor asked me to return another year as a teaching assistant for this study abroad program.
I am very well versed in many biological classes other than general bio. For example, vertebrate zoology, genetics, environmental science, population ecology, general ecology, and more! If you have a course that I feel I may not be as confident with I will be honest with you and let you know I may not be the most helpful person for that course.
I have very unique and creative ways of studying biology and many tips and tricks I learned through my years at UAB to help absorb the massive amounts of info needed for a test! This is really WHAT MAKES ME STAND OUT as a GREAT TUTOR !!
