I love to tutor in biology and biochemistry. I have a PhD in neurosciences, and I will complete medical school in December. Tutoring provides a chance to share my love of science with others (as well as help them boost their grades and understanding!)
I'm also a gifted proofreader thanks to my years of writing, both at an undergraduate and graduate level. My bachelor's degrees were in psychology and comparative literature, with a minor in neuroscience.

I'm not just educated in science; I'm educated in how to do science--how to prove something is true or false. This helps me find great ways to clarify, demonstrate, and explain complex scientific concepts, and this is the major value I provide as a tutor.
I spend all day thinking about science, and in particular about analogies and examples to improve my own understanding, and about ways to improve the understanding of my students. These are the kinds of methods I use to expand science comprehension, so that memorizing is less important, and forgetting is less likely--which adds up to better test scores and more fun thinking about how the world works!
In my free time, I love gardening with wife and taking my dog for walks on the Vulcan trail.
Please let me know if you need help with tutoring in science or writing. I love both and would love to help you!
