Hi! I am Jordan. I have my doctorate and master’s in clinical psychology, with emphasis in neuropsychology; and my undergraduate degree was in psychology and chemistry. Currently, I am completing my post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology within a large academic medical center.

Hi! I am Jordan. I have my doctorate and master’s in clinical psychology, with emphasis in neuropsychology; and my undergraduate degree was in psychology and chemistry. Currently, I am completing my post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology within a large academic medical center.

Throughout my academic and professional career, I have strengthened my knowledge in the field of psychology; and greatly developed my writing skill set, a particular strength of mine. I have a lot of experience, not only writing professional articles, but also with admission essays, personal statements, and cover letters. Students I have tutored have been accepted to multiple top-tier PhD programs in clinical psychology. I also have served as a mentor/tutor for multiple graduate students as well as student athletes during my undergraduate career. Responsibilities included reviewing professional essays/documents, tutoring in a variety of subjects, and provision of career guidance and interview preparation.

I am particularly interested in tutoring individuals in the field of psychology as well as academic and professional writing. I can also help with the development of efficient/effective study techniques to allay anxiety and/or difficulties that may present with attention/concentration concerns.

I am clinical psychologist with concentration in neuropsychology. Within neuropsychology, I have worked with many individuals with ADHD; and I have been involved in the testing/diagnosing of ADHD (a big part of neuropsychology). Through assessing patients for ADHD, I am not only well-versed in the difficulties that accompany the diagnosis, but I have also developed strategies to help the clients complete testing as well as providing recommendations for the school and home environment. More specifically, during graduate school, I completed 3 years of clinical neuropsychology training within a private practice setting working with children and adolescents as well as 1 year of training in clinical neuropsychology within a VA working with adults. I also completed a year long-training in psychotherapy at a child/adolescent behavioral hospital working with children with behavioral disorders such as ADHD and other co-morbidities. During my internship, my focus was also on neuropsychology and I completed 4 out of 6 rotations in neuropsychology.

I played division 1 collegiate golf at the University of New Mexico. I have been under the instruction of multiple golf professionals throughout my athletic career from a young age including attending IMG academy, a school that emphasizes both your sport and academics and provides state of the art training and instruction. Through these experiences, I have developed an in-depth understanding of the game of golf and have extensive knowledge of the mechanics of the swing.

A super knowledgeable and patient tutor

I’m currently applying to clinical psychology doctoral programs, and Jordan was incredibly helpful and reassuring during my application process. She helped me with my resume and personal statements. I applied to over 10+ schools, and she helped me tailor each essay to different program/schools. She also helped me strengthen my story, clean up repetitive sentences, and restructure paragraphs. Further, she helped me clarify my ideas and express them clearly in my voice. I had multiple deadlines to meet, and Jordan was able to support me on a very short timeline. Masters & Doctoral Graduate School Applications

I sought out Jordan's help for my applications to graduate school specifically Psy.D programs and Masters in Mental Health Counseling programs. Jordan helped me tailor my personal statements and essays for each of my graduate programs in a timely manner.
