I tutored ACT and SAT math for a tutoring firm for several months. I have a phd in math and would love to help!

I have been diagnosed with ADD twice, once as a child, and again as an adult. I believe having the disorder helps me understand the struggles of an ADD student. I have also tutored a child in 5th grade with ADHD. My effort was well received, I found that my experiences helped me approach the solution in a manner that kept his attention. I've also taught several courses at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB). The classes almost always included at least two students with the disorder who required special attention. Finally, I'm patient -- patience will always be needed when tutoring a student with ADD/ADHD.

I have a PhD in math. I've taught algebra 1-2 for over ten years at the college level. I've also tutored high school students in the subject with much success.

I have taken students in 2nd and 3rd grade through their future curriculum with the textbooks the parents provided. The parents wanted the students to get ahead in their subject. This was done as I was working for respected tutoring companies. I get a long with the children and understand what they need to learn their material. I also have a phd in math. haha

I was Chair of the math department at a 4 year college and have worked for several tutoring companies both online and in person with much success. I have a phd in math but don't let that scare you, I'm a down-to-earth guy who gets along well with his students.
