Hello! I'm a graduate student in mathematics with extensive tutoring experience spanning one-on-one sessions, small groups, and large classroom instruction, both in-person and online. I specialize in middle school through college-level math, standardized test preparation, and math competition coaching. However, I have a strong general background in many subjects, so I am adaptable in my offerings.
I tailor instruction to each student's unique learning style. Because math in particular is so cumulative, I focus on diagnosing foundational gaps and rebuilding understanding layer by layer. Once a student grasps the "why" behind a concept, we apply it to targeted practice problems until they feel confident in their mastery of the topic.
