I currently provide one-on-one ACT tutoring to high school students preparing for college admissions exams. During sessions, I help students review missed questions, strengthen grammar and reading skills, identify patterns in their mistakes, and develop personalized strategies for improving both accuracy and timing. I enjoy helping students build confidence and understand that improvement on the ACT comes from developing skills and reasoning rather than simply memorizing rules.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding why an answer is correct instead of relying solely on memorization. In ACT English, I work with students on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and rhetorical skills while teaching a systematic approach to solving questions efficiently. In ACT Reading, I help students improve comprehension, identify important information quickly, and manage their time effectively during the exam. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student’s individual strengths, challenges, and score goals.
