Hi! I'm Aila, and I'm passionate about helping students thrive in math, chemistry, biology, and psychology. I graduated with a strong academic foundation in science and data analysis, and I’ve spent the past two years tutoring students ranging from middle school through college. My goal is always to build students' confidence and understanding by breaking complex topics into manageable, clear steps that actually stick.

In my tutoring, I take a highly personalized approach. I begin by identifying each student’s learning style and the specific areas where they’re struggling. From there, I create targeted lesson plans that focus on strengthening core concepts while integrating active practice and real-world examples. Whether it’s algebraic equations, balancing chemical reactions, or decoding biological systems, I make sure students not only understand the material—but feel empowered by it.

I’ve worked with students in both one-on-one and group settings, online and in-person. Many of my students came to me overwhelmed or discouraged, and watching them go from confusion to confidence is why I love this work. I also bring patience, adaptability, and a supportive presence to every session. If you're looking for someone who will meet you where you are, explain things in ways that make sense, and genuinely care about your progress—I’d love to work with you!

Chemistry

Chemistry

I am a graduated pre-med student from Emory university having finished all the requirements for med school entry. I have also tutored fellow peers and high school students in chemistry for the past three years.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Data Analysis as a Pre-Med student and have spent the last five years teaching hands-on elementary science in online and one-on-one settings. I specialize in making complex concepts—like ecosystems, the water cycle, and simple physics—easy and fun by using experiments and real-world examples. My students consistently improve their confidence in science by actively exploring, asking questions, and conducting simple investigations. I strive to nurture curiosity and help each child see science as an exciting puzzle they can solve themselves.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I’ve spent the last five years helping students craft compelling personal statements that highlight their unique stories and strengths. Drawing on my own experience working with an admissions reviewer, I know exactly what colleges are looking for and how to address prompts clearly and authentically. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas, organizing drafts, or fine‐tuning tone and structure, I guide each writer through every step of the process. My students routinely gain admission to their top‐choice schools after working with me to transform their essays into standout narratives.
Python

Python

Current B.S degree holder in Data Analysis with 7+ courses taken on Python and its applications.
Reading

Reading

I have a Bachelor’s degree on the Psychology track and have spent the past eight years tutoring students in grades 3–9 on a one-on-one basis. I specialize in reading comprehension strategies—helping learners break down complex texts, identify main ideas, and build strong vocabulary skills. Over the years, I’ve guided dozens of students from reluctant readers to confident learners who enjoy tackling challenging passages. My tutoring style is friendly and patient: I focus on creating a relaxed environment where students feel safe asking questions and celebrating every small success.
