I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.80 in May 2024. My educational foundation is complemented by my time at Wallace State Community College, where I achieved a 4.00 GPA, was an active member of multiple honor societies, and received prestigious scholarships such as the Presidential Transfer Scholarship. My academic achievements underscore my dedication and ability to excel in both structured and challenging learning environments, equipping me with the knowledge to assist others in their educational pursuits effectively.
My tutoring and teaching experience spans various settings and age groups. At Wallace State Community College, I worked as a part-time tutor for English and Math from August 2021 to June 2022, where I provided one-on-one assistance to college students. These sessions focused on personalized learning approaches, helping students strengthen foundational concepts and improve problem-solving skills. Additionally, I currently serve as a Math teacher at Clay-Chalkville High School, where I have taught a diverse group of high school students since August 2024. In this role, I have developed lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, fostered a collaborative classroom atmosphere, and tailored my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of my students.
