I'm Collins, I have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a PhD in pharmaceutical science.

My Experience: I have experience tutoring students in biology, biochemistry, and anatomy at secondary and college levels. My PhD degree in pharmaceutical science provided a solid foundation for delivering in-depth and accurate instruction. I am passionate about making these subjects engaging and relevant by connecting them to real-world examples and applications. During my doctoral degree program. I was asked to teach two undergraduate Biomedical Sciences degree classes. This course was designed to prepare the student with the basic biological processes, chemical processes, and quantitative reasoning skills to enter a pharmacy program. During my teaching tenure, I portrayed exemplary skills in communication and didactic delivery of the curriculum, which I effortlessly showed in my lecture notes and PowerPoint presentations. I independently prepared formative and summative assessments for the topics I taught which include: introduction to pathophysiology, organization levels of the body, the organ systems, organs and functions of the body system, and typical pathological processes of organs and systems. The high pass rate of the class attested to my excellent teaching skills.

My tutoring methods: Using a personalized approach, I believe in tailoring my teaching style to each student's unique learning style and pace. Using interactive learning, I tutor the student through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and visual aids. I create a dynamic learning environment. I focus on building a strong foundation of core concepts before moving on to more complex topics. I equip students with the tools to think critically and solve problems independently.
