Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ACT English

I've tutored numerous students in the ACT English and Math. From then on, everyone made a good score on the ACT

ADD/ADHD

I have been tutoring students for many years, and no matter what their conditions are they still are the smartest kids ever. The highest subject that I ever helped a students in was Reading. Although some studens fall behind in reading, my reading will develop in their brain and them an advanced reader. Also, some students do not know how to read, they can become an intelligent reader if they can pick a book and read one word at a time. The next subject that I helped a student in was math. Some students do not know how to count, do addition, and etc. But when I sit down with a student and show them how to do the work, they always become a smart, talented kid. My plan is to help kids with ADHD and tell them that they are smart as any other kid. No matter what subject they need help with, I will help them all the way.

Algebra 2

I've taken Advanced Algebra 2 in high school and college. Also, I am an excellent notetaker and I will make sure you understand the material.

Dyslexia

I have helped children with many conditions for a long time, and I will be grateful to help any child in need. My first subject is to help a student in is reading. Most children with special needs are having trouble keeping up with the other students. My goal in Reading is to help students in Reading Comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, and etc. Although some children are having trouble in this subject, they can still become as smart as the other students. The next subject that I will help a student in is Math. Most children with dyslexia are having trouble counting numbers. My goal is to help students in Addition, Subtraction, Multipulcation, and Division. Also, I will helped them learned Advanced Math like, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. No matter what subject a student needs help in, I will be there for them. I will do my best to help a student in any subject, no matter how long it takes. The students will become smart in Math, Reading, Spelling, and Vocabulary.

Elementary (K-6th)

During my time in college, Elementary Education is the best major I have ever chosen. I do well in all of the subjects from k-6th. My strongest subject is math. I have been helping students in math for a long time. Even though some problems were rough, the answer was always right. I can help them in addition subtraction, multiplication, division, pre-algebra, and other related areas. My second strongest subject is reading. I will always help a child in reading no matter how long it takes. Once I help them with their reading skills, they will be the top reader in the class. My third best subject is science. I can help a student to learn about solids, liquids, and gases, plants and animal cells, and other related topics. One day, I will take a student to the McWane Science Center, so that they will know the true meaning of Science. My final strongest subject is social studies. I love to teach kids about American history. I taught the students about the Presidents of the United States of America. When wars started and ended, and how to learn all 50 states. I will countinue to help a student in any subject no matter how long it takes. My goal for the future is to become a 3rd grade elementary school teacher.

Precalculus

I have taken Advanced Precalculus in high school and college. I've tutored most of my classmates in that specific area.

SQL
