Hi! My name is Logan, and I am a recent graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. While attaining my degree, I developed a strong passion for sciences and helping others succeed in difficult subjects by becoming a learning assistant. I am a current medical school matriculant with strong clinical experience in an emergency room setting, which have allowed me to gain real-world application of biology, anatomy, physiology, and other health related sciences.
I offer tutoring to college and high school students seeking help in Biology, Chemistry(General or Organic), Microbiology, Cellular/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, A&P, Biochemistry, and MCAT prep. My goal is a tutor is not only to see my students improve their scores, but to have them truly understand the material and become much more confident in their academic approach. I have not been completely perfect throughout my academic career, and understand as well as anyone that science can be overwhelming and intimidating.
My teaching style emphasizes patience and adapting the lesson plan to the individual. My goal is not for students to just memorize the information but to see them truly understand the concepts. By doing this, I am able to help students develop study plans that will continue to work throughout the remainder of their studies even without me. Whether a student needs long-term academic help or simply prep for an exam, I am here to help!
