I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, K-6 from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
I graduated in 1996 with magna cum laude honors and received my teaching certificate from the state of Missouri. I taught at Ridgeway Elementary in Missouri- Columbia for two years. I had a classroom of 22 students teaching language art, science and social studies. The students I taught were second and third graders. After teaching I started a family. I've gained knowledge about ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and 504 plans by my children attending the Midland School System in Michigan and Auburn City Schools in Alabama over the years.
I'm currently tutoring a 3rd grader and 5th grader in language arts. I work with students on phonics, fluency, story elements, comprehension, context clues and many other areas.
