Hello, my name is Teacher Laura. I am an experienced online tutor. I have tutored online for about 4 years teaching English, grammar, and conversation. I am certified in grades 1-6 in all Elementary education subjects. I have four years experience teaching English to students learning from other countries. I have experience teaching adult students. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, Master’s of Elementary Education, Master’s in Library Science, and Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Education. I have 20 years experience teaching in grades PreK to high school seniors.
I love to laugh and make my students feel comfortable learning and asking questions. I will proceed at your child’s rate and be patient with him or her. Let’s meet and get to know each other.

I often struggled with math in high school and college so I feel like I have patience and understanding for students who struggle with math.

I taught third and fourth grade for nine years with a focus on teaching Language Arts. I have a library media degree and am very familiar with children’s literature and helping struggling readers.
