My son is currently a 10th grader and has enrolled in AP Computer Science A this year. He does not have much prior programming experience, and his AP CSA teacher mentioned that students without a strong foundation may find the course challenging and suggested that they consider switching to AP Computer Science Principles instead.
Before making a decision, we would really like to get a professional opinion.

I’m reaching out on behalf of my niece she is 6, soon to be 7 in the first grade. She needs some help with phonics and feeling comfortable reading. She is very verbose and articulate in regards to her speech but want to get her up to speed and more confident in her abilities.

I'm looking for a cello practice coach/practice buddy for my 6th grader. He currently takes private lessons with a teacher, but I would love for him to have someone to guide him through practices (on technique, tone, musicality, sight-reading, audition-prep, etc.) We are looking for in-person.

I’m looking for an English tutor for my son. He moved to the U.S. about three years ago, and English is not his first language. His speaking and listening skills have improved a lot, and he communicates well in everyday situations. However, he still needs extra support with reading comprehension and, especially, writing. I’m looking for a tutor who can help him strengthen his reading and writing skills, expand his vocabulary, improve grammar, and become a more confident writer for school assignments.

I have two kids that in high school and could use someone to help backstop them with math and physics courses. My current expectation is that a tutor would be able to visit the home and address any questions they have, support homework, and review test results.

My son is in grade 3 and we are homeschooling for the first time this year after his first 3 years at an International school in Thailand. He has a dyslexia diagnosis and struggled to keep up with his highly academic peers. We are expecting him to spend more time on reading and writing this year than any other subject. We are currently in Huntington Beach at Beach/Adams.
