I have a chemistry 1 HN test on Tuesday and I'm not really understanding half life, reading a bohr model, ionic compounds like (cation and stuff), and if an element loses or gains electrons and how to draw a bohr model of that ion, and orbital diagrams, and electron configuration (along with the noble gas configuration version).
Also for the electron configuration, my teacher uses the method of counting on the periodic table like the s category, the d category, the p category, and the f category. I was also having trouble counting when it comes to elements in the f block!!

I am a first year student at the NOVA community college. I am having a hard time grasping the new concepts we are learning such as redox reactions and acid based reactions. I also could use help when it comes to molarity, calculating limiting reactants, percent compositions of compounds, electronic structure and Stoichiometry.
