My family moved to the U.S. about two years ago, and we recently relocated to Dublin. My son will be starting 6th grade.
He generally does well in math and is able to keep up with his class. However, since English is not his first language, I feel that math vocabulary sometimes makes it difficult for him to fully understand word problems and certain concepts.
We are looking for a tutor who can help strengthen both his math skills and his understanding of math vocabulary so that he can feel more confident in middle school math.
