We’re ideally hoping for in-person sessions if you’re local.

My husband and I are looking for an in-person English tutor for our 12-year-old son.
He would benefit from support in reading comprehension and writing, particularly with organizing his thoughts, improving clarity, and strengthening focus while reading. He is bright and capable, but he can be hyperactive, has attention challenges, and sometimes struggles with classroom habits such as staying on task and following through on assignments.
We are looking for a tutor who is patient, structured, and engaging, and who has experience working with middle-school students who may need help with focus and study skills in addition to academic support. A calm but firm teaching style tends to work best for him.
Our preference is in-person tutoring on a consistent weekly schedule. We’re happy to discuss goals, availability, location, and your approach to working with students like our son.
