I’m an associate ITSM architect at a hospital and have been in the role for 3.5 years. I started when we were deciding to move from Cherwell to Ivanti, so I didn’t get much training coming into the role.
I’ve had some training before starting, including A+, a ServiceNow bootcamp, ServiceNow CSA, and have my ITIL Foundation certification. But even after 3.5 years, I still don’t feel like I have a firm grasp on ITSM and ITIL. I understand the parts of ITSM and most of what’s being discussed in meetings, but I feel like something is missing in my understanding of how it all fits together or I’m making it more difficult than it needs to be. I don’t feel very confident, and that makes it hard for me to contribute ideas or feel like I’m bringing value to my team.
I really want to learn this and understand it better. I’m looking for someone who can help me connect the pieces and apply what I’m learning to my everyday work.
