I’m an earth science PhD student at UC Berkeley who would like to improve my general computational background and facility in python mainly for data visualization and making publication-quality scientific figures. I have some prior experience in R but never became that advanced in it. Python is mostly new to me, but I am increasingly encountering it in work settings now and would like to learn.
I'd specifically like to get help making maps, contour plots/heat map type figures and rank-order plots but would also like to improve my general foundation in data analysis in python.
