I studied Japanese for three years back in college, including one year abroad at Keio University's Japanese Language Program. But I haven't used it since then (about 10 years ago), so it's getting really rusty. I'm hoping to brush up my Japanese skill such that I could communicate with my firm's clients who are Japanese. I don't need to become fluent; I just hope to learn enough so that I can get the work done (I work in international trade law), with the understanding that this may take some time. I was from Taiwan and am fluent in Chinese, so I could read Kanji pretty easily. Preferably, I would like to have tutor lessons in person.

I am a graduate student over at American University and this semester I am taking an Intro to Economic Theory course. I have gotten 100% on each of the first two homework assignments this semester but they are taking me ages and I am having trouble applying the information learned without constantly looking at my notes. Truth be told I am not retaining or understanding a lot of the information.
I would love to meet in person for two hours of tutoring this week, hopefully on Wednesday during the day.

We are interested in scheduling math tutoring sessions for our 3rd grade daughter. She does not have any learning or physical disabilities and is currently performing at grade level, but we would like to help her strengthen her math competency and deepen her overall understanding of foundational skills.
We are specifically looking for once-a-week sessions in person on Wednesdays at 5:00 PM. Ideally, we’d like a tutor who can make math engaging, build her confidence, and introduce strategies that go beyond just classroom standards.
